Thank you for choosing Optimal Behavioral Health Solutions. This policy explains how payment works so there are no surprises. Please read it carefully before signing.
Our fees.
Counseling — $100 per session. Sliding-scale and package options are available.
ABA — Cost depends on your coverage. ABA is typically funded through insurance, FES-UA, or a scholarship, so most families have little to no out-of-pocket cost. We’ll verify your coverage before services begin.
Special education advocacy — Starts at $200 for a one-hour consultation, which includes a one-hour Zoom or phone meeting and document review ($25 per additional document). Advocacy packages are also available, tailored to your family’s needs.
Assessments — Pricing depends on the type and complexity of the assessment (for example, a transition assessment costs less than a full psychoeducational evaluation). You’ll receive a clear quote before we begin.
Payment is due at the time of service unless we have agreed to other arrangements in writing.
Accepted payment methods. Payments are processed securely through our online scheduling and payment systems (Wix and Acuity). We accept credit/debit card, ACH/bank transfer, FES-UA funding, PayPal, Venmo, and Stripe, as well as Klarna and Affirm for families who prefer to pay over time.
FES-UA, insurance, and other funding. If you are using FES-UA, insurance, or a scholarship, you remain responsible for any amount that funding does not cover.
Good Faith Estimate. Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs. One will be provided to you separately.
Late and returned payments. Balances unpaid after 30 days may incur a late fee of $25. A returned or declined payment may incur a fee of $25.
Cancellations and no-shows. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, may be charged $50 for self-pay services. (See our Cancellation & No-Show Policy for full details.)
Outstanding balances. Services may be paused if an account carries an unpaid balance beyond 30 days, and seriously past-due accounts may be referred to collections.
Changes to fees. Fees may change with 30 days’ advance written notice.
